Seagrove was the site for a pair of regionally popular pottery festivals Saturday, and neither was affected by inclement weather as both are indoors or in covered locations. Both festivals continue today under much sunnier conditions. The 38th Annual Seagrove Pottery Festival is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Seagrove Elementary School, 528 Old Plank Road, Seagrove (admission $5). The Celebration of Seagrove Potters is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Historic Luck’s Cannery, 798 NC Pottery Highway 705, Seagrove (admission $6). If you can’t decide which to attend, try both: They’re taking place just one mile away from each other, or an easy 3-minute drive.
